Straight American 7 year Bourbon Cask Strength

Oregon Spirit Distillers 7 year Bourbon Cask Strength Whiskey is a single barrel, four grain bourbon made with corn, rye, wheat, and malted barley. This expression of bourbon is made using the same grain bill as our original 4 year Bourbon, but aged for seven years on site in Bend, Oregon. After seven years of maturation in new American white oak barrels each barrel is released as a single barrel at cask strength and represents the uniqueness of the barrel it was aged in.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Pie crust, brown sugar, rich wood aromas, stewed apples, dried hay

Palate: Caramel, golden honey, hints of apples, roasted nuts, buttered pastries, light smoke, tobacco leaf

Finish: Deep lingering finishing hug - no spikes - fading into vanilla cake frosting and smoky tart apple
